Rachel V Weinert, founder of Amuse Book, has extensive experience in rights management and international operations within the publishing industry leveraging her international and multi-lingual background. Rachel joined Scholastic in 2015, first in the International Division, managing print runs and supporting global teams, before moving to the Rights team and serving as Senior Manager of Rights and Co-Editions. During her time on the Rights team, Rachel worked across numerous markets, developing strategy and revenue streams, and negotiating licensing and co-edition deals. Rachel was responsible for managing her team, freelancers, and agencies. Before joining Scholastic, Rachel worked at LOFTY and at various art galleries in New York, managing logistics, finances, and customer relations. A graduate of New York University with a degree in Art History and Comparative Literature and of the Cité Scolaire Internationale in Lyon with a French Baccalaureate with an International Option specializing in Literature, Language, and Philosophy, Rachel combines literary expertise, strategic vision, and operational acumen.
